**! this was odd from the very start of the story: the writing and dialogue kept switching from one topic to the next, most of the other characters involved were just way too horny and obnoxious, then lets not talk about the wife who herself was just a horrible person in this storyline

This popped up on my trading site and I had heard good things of Gill McKnight, though not this particular book.I now know why ;) It's incredibly flat and soulless. It is billed a romantic adventure, but really, there's not a lot of romance in it. There is a lot of talk of sex and being horny (that word must be used a gazillion times in this novel), but feelings aren't really palpable. The beginning was great, it was coming along just fine when it came to the middle everything got out of place. Could have been much better storyline with different choices.

A fun read even if the humour was off the wall silly at times. Sweet romance considering the stunt women and stunt kids involved. Memorable for me will be the fascination one character had for the "cigar butt nipples" of her lover.

A really short read, and it shows. It had no deep character or relationship development. Toward the end, it seemed more like a parody. If you want to read one of Gill McKnight’s books, I recommend Ambereye instead.

I had a mixed reaction to this book. I thought it started out okay and I was interested in following the story. I was also happy to see a non-white character, Gin Ito. What got weird is that I found I liked Solley, the main character, less and less as the story went long, especially because I really liked Gin. Solley has immaturity and a hot temper while Gin seems to be a deeper character. Somewhere in the middle, the story shifts to the point that it felt like maybe the author stopped writing a [...]
