This is a great continuation of Luke's Surprise. I don’t really consider it a sequel since it takes place at the same time as Luke's Surprise. I love Cody and it was great seeing what was going on with him during Luke’s book. This story had a lot more development of the wolf packs and their politics. I don’t want to spoil anything but this ones plot seemed to go much faster and had a lot more suspense and plot twists. Once I started reading I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down. As [...]

4.5 starsI have to say, I enjoyed this one more than Luke's Surprise. Cody and Stefan, I thought, were a great couple. Cody's the artistic omega while Stefan is the strong, confident alpha. I liked how they still had some quirks, though. Like Stefan had this adorable little thing he did whenever he was embarrassed or a bit nervous he'd look down at the ground. I just thought it was so cute. And I really liked how they met. I loved how shocked Cody was, I couldn't help but smile. I definitely lik [...]

4.5 Stars.I liked Cody's Revelation even more than I liked Luke's Surprise. I feel like the story is solid and Lavinia's writing had me hooked. I read this in one sitting. Even though this is technically a series book, the timeline is the same as in Luke's Surprise and I have to say that it was refreshing to read a series that way. One thing that I would personally like to praise Ms. Lewis on is that, unlike several authors that are currently writing shifter books in this genre, there was nothin [...]

Cody's Revelation was one of the most touching stories I have read. In the beginning I thought I was going to ring Stefan's neck when I found out he was married and had a son, but when the story unfolds and you learn the truth of what happened it made me fall for him even more. To know that he sacrificed so much of his life for his family was touching. Cody's understanding of it all makes you feel even more endeared to him. These two fighting for what they know is theirs is a struggle worth gett [...]

Wow Stefan and Cody were so hot together from the time they meet they burned up the pages. They were great together and I thought they had tons of chemistry I enjoyed them both. I love getting to know the family. If you liked Luke's story you will enjoy his older brother Cody's story. Really looking forward to Kelan's book. Once again a great book by Lavinia Lewis.

I decided to give this series a second chance, but for me it wont be getting a third. Again the blurb promised so much in the way of intrigue and angst, but never lived up to it. (view spoiler)[ The big plot point regarding the marrige and son is resolved as fast as its mentioned. Then you have Cody's brother leaving him at a time when I would of expected him to stick around. The council shows up at his house to issue a challenge to his younger brothers mate and he doest stay around long enough [...]

The book showed promise, but the plot was too simplistic and predictable for me to get really in it. Cody avoided conflict and just went with the flow and accepted everything even when it hurt him. I can't really like characters like that. The characters were flat and the main focus of this book was on the story and not on the characters, which is why they fell short. I wanted to like it, but I think I've been reading too many well written books lately to really like this one

I liked this second book much better and that's from family perspective. In this part we got the picture about brothers. I did feel like everything developed to fast between Stefan and Cody, but in overall it was enjoyable read. I hope that in next book we will see more about Kelan pack in whole picture and not just about finding his mate.

    • Karen K says:

I enjoyed this book more than the first one. Cody and Stefan are a great couple and though I don't feel like I got into Cody's head quite as much as I would have liked, I really enjoyed the plot and the supporting characters, as well as the MCs. I found myself entwined in the story and can't wait to read about Kelan now.

I adored Cody and Stefan grew on me. Once I started reading I didn't stop until I finished it.

I also reviewed, Book #1, Luke’s Surprise on Reviews by Jessewave. Cody’s Revelation follows the same format: werewolf meets werewolf, instant attraction, mating occurs…enter The Big Bad to try and break up their happiness. As I have stated before, I love werewolf stories. If I have a choice between a contemporary romance and a werewolf romance I will pick the werewolf romance hands down. In this installment of the Shifters’ Haven series, I liked the fact the two main characters were alre [...]

In this second book in the Shifter's Haven series Cody is called home by his brother, the alpha of his pack, and discovers that what he'd always wanted but had never allowed himself to hope for has found him - his mate. But when Cody's mating is threatened by outsiders, he and Stefan find that their relationship is going to be a bit of a rocky ride. I wasn’t very sure about Cody at the beginning. On the one hand I respected him for his unwillingness to enter into a relationship since he wouldn [...]

This is the second book in the Shifter's Haven series. These books so far have been a good sweet read. This book however lacked urgency or suspense. Basically in the first book of the series you know Cody meets his mate and you know anything that happens because this book takes place overlapping the last few chapters of the first one. It would have been nice as long as the stories followed a similar time line to have seen the some of the other events where these two are mentioned. Including comp [...]

3.5 star read for me. I enjoyed this one more than the first book in the series, especially the new characters and getting to see Cody with his family. I was prepared to hate the wife and son storyline, but I wound up enjoying it, especially Aaronhe was adorably hilarious! I look forward to the next book in the series.

    • Lee says:

Cody's Revelation is a very nice addition to Ms. Lewis' Shifter's Haven series. It fits well with the first book and it has an unexpected twist that at first had me seeing red. So with Luke's and Cody's stories having been told, that leaves the oldest brother, Kelan, up next. It should be good.I give Cody's Revelation three stars.

    • Jacq says:

This story was charming A little different from Luke and Mark. The plot held little twists and turns, I found to be quite interesting. Ps plenty smexey scenes not toooooo much and not to little just right! Ok why did I give this one star less than Luke and Mark ? Its just missing something I can't put my finger on DANG!

    • Jennifer says:

This book is better than book one, Luke's Surprise. There is a lot of possiblity with this shifter series. I was slightly disappointed that Cody's actual revelation was "resolved" so quickly. On the other hand, there seemed to always be another "revelation" around the next corner. It might sound like this review is all complaints but the character of Cody is very likable. The twist of Stephan being married and the ensuing issues were good. My one overarching issue with this book and the prior bo [...]

I really like how this one took place at the same time as the first one and showed what was happening with Cody during that period. I loved seeing it from his perspective and knowing that stuff went on that his little brother didn't even know about. This was another sweet story with a difficult situation that affected whether there would be an HEA that really worked itself out too easily, but was still handled well. One thing I didn't like is that she had a New York up and coming painter who made [...]

2011 Review:Meh. It didn’t help that the one guy was a cold, selfish bastard. Mending his ways was nice but not enough to make me forget his meanness in the beginning.Furthermore, people were largely stupid. It was a case of bad writing but it made the characters look much less intelligent than they should. So yeah, that was book three of that series and although there’s a tentative setup for a next volume I won’t be chomping at the bit to get to it.2012 Re-read of Book 1 to 3:Altogether th [...]

SPOILERS AHEADAt first I totally loved the story line. Cody is endearing and the alpha is very dominant and sweet. Just how I like them. What however put me slightly off later on is how the council was portrayed and one part of the challenge: an alpha gets challenged and if the other one wins, he also get the guy's property. Fine so far. But then Cody was classified as Stefan's property and that's when the book lost me. I can get behind old laws and shifters and councils but for wolves to suppose [...]

I think this book could have been so much better, the relationship between Cody and Stefan is one of my favourites in this series, but I was so disappointed that the depth of their emotional bond was not explored further. It would have been nice to see a little more angst and conflict when it came to Stefan's wife and son and what that relationship meant for Cody's possible relationship with his mate. I liked the overall story, just think it had more potential.

    • Gigi says:

This is oldest Morgan brother Cody's story. His mate is alpha male Stefan who is married and has a son. Drama! Unfortunately, the drama and angst only last for about 4 pages. *sigh* The rest of the book is sex. Not that I'm complaining. Loudly. An enjoyable shifter series. More enjoyable than most anyway. Next up is middle brother Kelan. He's my favorite so far

This story is about cody the second oldest and he has come back home story takes place while things in First book . These storys about finding their mates and it happens to be an married man with an son. But we find out things arent as it is. There is abit of drama and who wants to be lead alpha. But all in all i loved this one.

    • Lizzie says:

Easy weekend read. Not great, not terrible. Insta-love without much plot detail. Sweet mate-bond story. Devlin was nearly a non-entity and it feels he should have been more. The editing in this book and the others was lacking.
